About the role
This is a very exciting, newly created opportunity, to join a renewable energy company based in North Sydney, on a permanent basis.
This role will lead communications, stakeholder engagement and brand messaging across the business, with an ESG and sustainability lens.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be the primary point of contact for stakeholder enquiries, lead communications across the business, manage the website and regular newsletters for the solar farm portfolio, and help elevate the organisation's brand and marketing.
You will be responsible for:
* Act as a point of contact for community and stakeholder enquiries related to their solar assets
* Develop and manage community communications strategy to include newsletters and website updates
* Lead written content for annual ESG and sustainability reports
* Streamline the company's marketing collateral
* Drive press releases for M&A announcements
* Take ownership of website content and messaging
* Manage communications projects end-to-end, escalating any issues where required
About you
* 3–5 years experience in communications including stakeholder engagement, ESG and marketing
* Prior experience in ESG and sustainability within a corporate or infrastructure environment - preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised, proactive and takes ownership of responsibilities
