The Opportunity
We're looking for a reliable Logistics Assistant to support our warehouse operations. You'll operate specialised equipment including gantry cranes and forklifts, handle premium stone and tile products, and ensure efficient order processing. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a team handling Australia's finest stone products.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll assist with receiving and warehousing operations, operating gantry cranes and forklifts to manage premium stone inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. Your day will include processing customer orders, picking and packing delicate tiles and stone slabs, and assisting with loading delivery vehicles. You'll also support showroom displays and help maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits.
Safety is paramount in this role. You'll follow all safety protocols, participate in training sessions, and conduct regular equipment checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Current forklift licence (mandatory)
Willingness to obtain a gantry operating licence (training provided)
Minimum 6 months' warehouse experience
Basic computer skills for inventory systems
Strong work ethic and reliability
