This is a part-time role as a Social Media Marketing specialist for the LG Group Civil' based in Ballarat, VIC. As a key member of the Marketing & Communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the digital presence and growth of a leading civil engineering firm.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and grow the company's social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) to reach and engage the target audience
* Create and curate compelling, on‑brand social content (e.g. posts, stories, videos) that aligns with the overall marketing strategy
* Monitor social media analytics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement
* Collaborate with the wider marketing team to integrate social media into wider campaigns and initiatives
* Stay up‑to‑date with the latest social media trends, best practices and platform updates
* Provide recommendations to continuously optimise the social media strategy
What we're looking for
* Experience in social media marketing, preferably in the B2B or professional services industry
* Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their unique features and audience dynamics
* Excellent content creation and copywriting skills, with the ability to develop engaging, on‑brand content
* Data‑driven approach, with the ability to analyse social media metrics and use insights to inform strategy
* Creativity and innovative thinking to develop unique social media campaigns
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with the wider marketing team
