Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Mawson Lakes. This role involves managing personnel in duties associated with the on-boarding of suppliers, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), quoting, negotiation, selection, and purchase order placement of indirect, production and aftermarket product or services.
The ideal candidate will have extensive supply chain experience with strong negotiation, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, preferably within the Defence Industry.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare Firm-Fixed Price, Not-to-Exceed and Rough Order of Magnitude pricing for the Commonwealth.
* Monitor commodity pricing, technological developments and general business trends.
* Investigate potential suppliers for the supply of direct parts and repair services.
* Identify and action shortfalls in supplier base to support commodity requirements.
* Expedite quotes and orders from suppliers to ensure delivery, quality and corporate KPIs are achieved.
* Evaluate/award quotations received from suppliers ensuring Corporate requirements are satisfied.
* Manager supplier performance and drive resolution where required.
* Preparation and negotiation of Indefinite Demand, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQs), Long Term Agreements (LTAs), Contract Purchase Agreements (CPAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
* Manage and enforce SCM planning metrics for all phases of procurement lifecycle.
Requirements
* A Degree either in Business or Supply Chain Management is preferable, but relevant work experience may also be considered.
* Strong and accurate verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience leading a team.
* Demonstrated experience dealing with export / import and trade compliance requirements.
