About the role
Become part of the dedicated team at Emerald and Monbulk Family Dental Care as a Dental Assistant. This full-time position is based in Emerald VIC 3782 and Monbulk VIC 3793, you will work on a 4 day rotating roster between the two clinics and will see you play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing high-quality patient care.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures
* Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments
* Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring they feel comfortable
* Restocking dental supplies as needed
* Performing basic administrative tasks as required and the potential to do 1 reception shift per week in the future
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a general practice, 1-2 years dental assisting experience preferred but not required. Certificate III in Dental Assisting is not required, we are more than happy to provide on the job training.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* A friendly, professional and compassionate approach to patient care
* Familiarity with dental equipment, materials and procedures
* Able to work in a small team
