About The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our Erskine Park site. The Shift Maintenance Electrician will work closely with maintenance fitters and operators to ensure that reliability and safety issues are with in an effective and timely manner enabling the achievement of operational outcomes for the site. As a strong team player, the Maintenance Electrician will be willing and able to assist operationally, outside the areas of core responsibilities, and in doing so make a solid contribution to building a high‑performing site maintenance team culture.
The Shift Pattern Available Is
Day Shift working Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:00pm
Key Responsibilities Include
* Carry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility
* High level of technical and diagnostic skills including fault finding of electrical circuits and PLC programs
* Participate in the repairs and preventive maintenance of all site plant and equipment
* Demonstrate and promote safe work practices
* Assist with other duties to ensure the effective operation of the maintenance team
* Identifying and resolving equipment reliability and improvement opportunities
* Work closely with operations personnel to ensure that reliability and safety issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner
The Successful Candidate Will Possess The Following Attributes
* Electrical Trade Certificate/License (NSW)
* Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG or the Food manufacturing industry
* SCADA and PLC Knowledge essential (Allan Bradley and Siemens desirable)
* Process‑based risk assessment skills
* Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal and written
* Demonstrate an understanding of safety, health and the environment
* Diagnostics and fault finding on PLC's, VSD's, HMI's, robotics, instruments and sensors
* Installation of electrical power, control and automation systems
