We are currently seeking applications for Hotel Services to join our Disability Services team at our Kingsley site. We are offering a permanent part‐time position working 24 hours per fortnight with the opportunity to pick up shifts if available. Shifts are offered every Wednesday & Friday, 0800 - 1400 with opportunities to pick up additional shifts throughout the week.
This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and well‐maintained environment, providing thorough laundry services, and meeting meals and refreshment requirements for clients while adhering to health codes and regulations.
To be suitable for this role, you will have:
* Demonstrated understanding of working in a home environment, as opposed to commercial cleaning settings.
* Ability to balance task completion with maintaining a respectful, person‐centred approach in a client's home.
* Cleaning experience is beneficial (aged care or hospital experience acceptable).
* Dementia care experience is useful but not essential.
* Strong flexibility and adaptability to client needs and the home setting.
* Capacity to engage clients in promoting independence, including involving them in light household tasks where appropriate.
* Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, communicate clearly, and support clients respectfully.
* A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old.
* A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and homely environment.
* Conducting cleaning stock and equipment audits and ordering cleaning stock as required.
* Upholding health codes and regulations by providing a high‐quality service.
