Reporting directly to the Senior Exercise Physiologist, this role involves working across community and gym environments with clients, under the guidance of an Allied Health Professional, to deliver physical activity and exercise-based interventions aimed at improving health, fitness, and well-being.
What you’ll be doing in this role
1. Screen and assess the health, movement, exercise, and performance capacity of healthy individuals.
2. Conduct active and functional program assessment reviews, seeking guidance from an Allied Health professional on assessments provided.
3. Deliver prescribed individual and group exercise sessions, ensuring compliance with Senior Gym policies and processes.
4. Support goal setting and sustainable behavior change to help people achieve their health, wellbeing, fitness, and performance goals.
Who we’re looking for
* Ideally, you’ll have a tertiary qualification in Exercise Science or an equivalent qualification.
* Accreditation with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).
* Hold a valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
* Current and unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence.
