SECURITY COORDINATOR
Full Time
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Security Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of all guests, staff, and property at the Cairns Convention Centre.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that the Centre is secure.
* Operate the Security Control Room and Security Front Desk.
* Assist with the coordination of event security.
* Assist with the management of emergency services and evacuation procedures for the Centre.

* You will enjoy working flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, overnight and public holidays.
* Flexibility to provide roster coverage for both event and non‑event days.
* You will value the safety of yourself, team and clients.
* You have minimum two (2) years' experience in a Security Coordination role, preferably within the events or corporate security sector.
* You will hold a current QLD Class 1 Security license.
