Guest Service Ambassador
We are seeking an experienced Guest Service Ambassador to enhance the experience of our guests at a newly renovated riverside hotel in East Perth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Connect with guests and take initiative to provide exceptional service.
* Read and adapt to guest moods, adjusting your approach accordingly.
* Relate to guests' needs, focusing on delivering perfection.
* Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone.
* Take, manage, and receive payments for guest bookings.
* Streamline the check-in and check-out process for a seamless experience.
* Be guests' trusted contact, assisting with concerns, queries, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience in a Front Office position or with Opera (PMS) is highly valued.
* Confidence to connect with guests and make a positive impact.
* Excellent communication skills, ensuring easy interaction with guests.
* Problem-solving skills that turn issues into opportunities, creating memorable experiences.
* Availability to work a rotating roster, including shifts on weekends and public holidays.
* Fluency in the local language, with additional language skills beneficial but not essential.
* Literacy and technical skills, including basic maths and computer proficiency.
