Psychological Trauma Specialist
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced psychologists and social workers to provide critical incident and crisis counselling support to our clients. Using Psychological First Aid and other trauma specific interventions and approaches, you will work with individuals and organisations to provide one-on-one trauma support and group sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide psychosocial interventions, support and counselling to individuals affected by traumatic events
* Assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs and provide solution-focused advice to achieve agreed outcomes
* Work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including clients, colleagues and management
* Deliver People Assist services (EAP, RRS) in a flexible and dynamic environment
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
* Relevant experience and minimum 3 years trauma management and/or consultancy services
* Demonstrated ability to assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs and provide solution-focused advice to achieve agreed outcomes
* Excellent time management skills, report writing skills and willingness to demonstrate a 'can do' attitude
* High level negotiation and facilitation skills
* Registration with the appropriate professional body
