The Company
Our client is an exciting industrial technology ASX listed startup who have pioneered game changing technology set to revolutionise the mining, renewable energy, e-waste and other select industrial markets. Built on a proven platform, industrial trials and research they have established strong trust with their shareholders and market opportunities. They are currently looking to secure a Group CEO to move them into revenue, commercialisation and profitability.
The Opportunity
Your role will be responsible to:
* Set and execute the corporate strategy to progress the technology platform from pilot to commercial deployment
* Lead capital markets engagement: investor relations, market communications and funding strategy aligned to milestones
* Build and manage strategic partnerships across recycling, critical minerals, and industrial processing supply chains (including international markets)
* Oversee operational planning, budgeting, risk management and performance reporting
* Drive a high-performance culture across technical, commercial and corporate functions
* Ensure strong corporate governance, compliance and transparent reporting consistent with ASX-listed standards
* Represent the company externally with government, industry bodies, media and strategic stakeholders
* Lead its next phase of growth, bridging technology development, partnerships and capital markets execution to progress from validation and pilot development into commercial operations.
* Focus on commercialisation through inorganic growth by engaging and developing markets/customers.
* Develop organisational structure & build talent within the senior team.
* Represent the strategic and commercial interests of the business to investors and the board
* Identify and apply for relevant government grants inline with the strategic and commercial objectives.
* Effectively manage P&L and strategic cashflow objectives
You
* Proven CEO/GM/Executive leadership experience in an ASX-listed (or similarly governed) environment
* Strong commercialisation track record—taking technology or industrial processes from development into scalable operations
* Deep experience in one or more of: steel, commodity traders, critical minerals, battery materials, recycling/urban mining, hydrometallurgy, chemical processing, industrial scale-ups
* Demonstrated success in raising capital, managing investors and delivering against market-facing milestones
* Strong partnership and deal-making capability (JVs, offtakes, strategic collaborations, consortiums)
* High integrity, clear communicator, and comfortable leading through complexity and ambiguity
