About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Security Officer for the Duratec & Ertech Joint Venture in Rockingham, supporting our long‐term major infrastructure construction scopes. The Security Officer reports to the Project Manager and manages project security in line with client security requirements and project security plans.
Responsibilities
* Manage personnel access approvals and permissions for staff, consultants, and subcontractors.
* Conduct security briefings, inductions and training for project staff and subcontractors.
* Assist in developing procedures to meet security requirements.
* Support the project team with specific security requirements and review tender packages to ensure security compliance.
Qualifications
* Background in Quality Assurance, EHS, or Project Surveillance.
* Understanding of Government Protective Security Frameworks (PSPF, DSPF, ASIO tech notes, etc.).
* Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential).
* Australian Defence background is desirable.
* MUST hold relevant Australian work rights.
