Responsibilities
As part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, you will provide high‐quality anaesthetic services across a diverse range of specialties while contributing to teaching, training, and service development.
The Department Provides Anaesthesia Services For
* Obstetrics and Gynaecology
* Orthopaedic Surgery
* General Surgery
* Urology
* Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgery
* Ophthalmology
* Gastroenterology
* Dental and Maxillofacial Procedures
Additional Responsibilities Include
* Pre‐admission Anaesthetic Clinics
* Acute Pain Service and Pain Rounds
* Procedural Sedation Services
* Participation in teaching and supervision of junior medical staff
* Involvement in research, audit, and quality improvement activities

The hospital is the largest facility within the health service and serves as the major referral centre for a large regional population.

Requirements – Applicants Must Possess
* Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
* Specialist Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration
