Australia's most iconic rural weekly is looking for a powerhouse senior journalist to join The Land's editorial team. This isn't just a reporting job—it's an invitation to become the voice of rural NSW. From the livestock markets and political shifts to the colourful bush characters that define our country, you'll be there to capture it all, both our online and print audiences.
The ideal candidate:
* Break news for our massive online audience and craft compelling features
* Use social media and multimedia tools to bring the paddock to the palm of our readers' hands.
* Building relationships with new and existing audience members to help in your ability to source stories
* Get out of the office and onto the road, representing The Land at sales, conferences, and community events across the state.
* Have a high attention to detail who is self‐motivated and organised
* A good communicator who is happy to help the editor lead the team
* We are looking for a self‐motivated professional who doesn't need a map to find a story. AG experience is highly valued, but for a great storyteller, it's not a dealbreaker.
