Senior Consultant at Perigon Group - Permanent Finance & Accounting
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join a fast-growing, top-tier construction group at a pivotal stage of expansion. Working closely with both Finance and Operations, this role will be hands-on in delivering project reporting, cost control, and commercial insights across a diverse portfolio of high-value residential and mixed-use projects. You’ll partner directly with Project Managers and operational leaders, providing financial clarity and commercial support to ensure successful delivery of major builds.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of end-to-end project accounting including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Preparation of WIP, margin, and variance analysis across multiple projects
- Month-end close and project reconciliations
- Partnering with operations to provide insights that shape decisions and drive performance
- Reporting on project outcomes and supporting commercial reviews
- Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc analysis and reporting
About You
- Proven project accounting experience within the construction sector (essential)
- Strong understanding of WIP, cost control, and project reporting
- CA/CPA qualified or currently progressing towards completion
- Excellent communicator, confident partnering with both finance and site teams
- Hands-on, detail-focused, and commercially minded
