About your role: Assist the Nurse Unit Manager/Team Leader to implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area. Using a biopsychosocial model conduct mental health assessments, assist consumers, and families/ supports who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis to develop a comprehensive individual recovery plan and facilitate the effective delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of this plan. Provide effective high level clinical care, working in collaboration with the Team Leader, Clinical Lead, Team Consultant Psychiatrist, and the Director of Nursing to ensure safe standards of consumer care. Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care. Effectively communicate at all levels across the organisation and with external stakeholders, including non-government organisations, consumers and their carers.
