The Opportunity

SEE Group currently has an exciting opportunity for local Plant Operators on the Gold Coast.

• Articulated Haul Truck Operators
• Dozer Operators
• Excavator Operators (Bulk-fill and GPS)
• Watercart Drivers

This is a full-time position with overtime penalty rates and allowances.

This is a diverse and fast‐paced role working with our professional and highly skilled Urban development team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre‐start checklists on plant you are required to operate
• Operate/drive plant properly and safely to suit the individual job conditions.
• Ensure safety of other team members and the public in accordance with the legislative requirements.
• Report any fault/damage/problem the plant you are assigned to the Site Supervisor.
• Service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and re‐fueling it and make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary, in consultation with the Workshop Personnel.
• Keep plant in a clean and tidy state.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Hold an relevant RII ticket
• Have a Construction Industry Induction Card
• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
• Strong safety initiative
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be reliable and dedicated to the role
• Be able to pass a pre‐employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen
