Chef
The Wooli Tavern located in Cape Woolamai, VIC is looking to employ a full time qualified and experienced CHEFs to be part of their team in their busy kitchen.
Salary $76,550
To be considered for this role you must have;
* Australian trade qualified Certificate 3, 4 in cookery and Diploma or higher in hospitality management
•Minimum 3 years full time local Australian experience is required.
* Ability to prepare all dishes displayed on menu as well as wide ranging specials from different cuisines.
* Experience in planning menus, developing recipes, preparing, cooking and maintaining food quality
* Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Instruct cooks and other kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
* Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
* Select and train kitchen staff as and when required
* Ability to maintain a clean kitchen and use kitchen appliances and equipment safely.
* Ability to maintain a COVID safe workplace.
* May need to work varied shifts as also on weekends.
