Gosford Emergency Department is looking for a Clinical Nurse Educator who is organised, collaborative, and passionate about empowering others through learning. About The Opportunity As our Clinical Nurse Educator, you will: Lead and support education and development in the Emergency Department – provide guidance, coaching, and structured learning opportunities that build the confidence and clinical capability of nurses in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth – encourage curiosity, promote reflective practice, and support staff in developing new skills to ensure excellence in emergency care.Design and deliver engaging education programs – apply learning principles to create practical, innovative, and evidence-based sessions tailored to the needs of both new and experienced staff.Collaborate and innovate within a multidisciplinary team – work closely with nurses, medical staff, and allied health professionals to enhance patient outcomes, while shaping the educator role to reflect your own strengths, creativity, and professional interests. For more information about this role, please view the Position Description About You Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), with relevant post-graduate qualifications in clinical practice or education, or equivalent experience in both areas.Recent advanced-level experience in cardiology and/or critical care nursing.Proven experience in delivering education, with a sound understanding of contemporary learning and assessment principles.Strong ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen.
