About the role
We are seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to becomean integral member of our Audit & Assurance Division. This roleoffers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of prominent clientsin the property, construction, and mining industries, includingworking with large Chinese SOE’s. You will lead and inspire ateam of dedicated auditing professionals, streamline divisionalprocesses and procedures, and undertake complex, specialisedprojects. Meeting productivity and client budgets while deliveringvalue-added services will be pivotal in this exciting position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manager of a portfolio of SW audit clients
* Lead, support, and provide resources to team members formaximum performance
* Plan and organise staff and resources to meet client andfirm commitments
* Identify and develop existing and potential businessopportunities
* Evaluate long-term profitability/viability of clients andact accordingly
* Meet Key Firm Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such asteam productivity, fees, write-offs, number of new clients,work in progress and Debtors
* Research, write, update and review sections of thefirm’s publications
* Keep up to date with the latest changes and developments inAustralian Auditing and Accounting Standards and apply andshare this knowledge
* Coordinate training sessions for Assistant Managers,Seniors, Intermediates, and Graduates
Key Skills and Experience:
* 5 - 10 years’ experience working in an Assuranceenvironment in a Chartered / CPA accounting practice
* Fully qualified CA/CPA
* Technical proficiency and current knowledge of auditing andaccounting standards developments
* Excellent client relationship management skills
* Excellent time management skills and the ability toprioritise work and meet audit deadlines for multipleclients
* Strong staff leadership skills and prior experience inmanaging a team
* Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills
* Experience with audit software packages and proficiency inMicrosoft Office applications
