CELOTTI WORKFORCE has multiple exciting opportunities for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our client’s teams across Darwin and the NT.
We are seeking trade-qualified fitters with strong backgrounds in fixed plant maintenance, conveyors, crushers and screens. These roles offer a temp to perm opportunity, with immediate starts available.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Marine Industry – Darwin, NT
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (38-hour week)
* Pay Rate: $70.18ph + penalty rates
* Additional: Frequent weekday overtime + Saturday half-days
* Focus: Maintenance of infrastructure, fixed plant, equipment and other port related items.
* Note: Sponsorship is not available. Applicants must have full Australian working rights + have a clear NPC & Instant DAS
FIFO – Darwin Based Candidates only
* Hours: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off - Day Shift
* Pay Rate: $65 per hour – flat rate
* Focus: Gypsum plant commission sewage treatment plant commission maintenance, conveyors, crushers & screen maintenance
* Immediate start, local candidates only
* Note: Sponsorship is not available. Applicants must have full Australian working rights + have a clear NPC & Instant DAS
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
* Minimum 5+ years post-trade experience
* Skilled in fixed plant, gensets, pumps, and mechanical repairs
* Marine/industrial fitting and machining highly regarded
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Current Driver’s Licence (essential)
* Forklift Licence (preferred)
