The Role
Are you an experienced Facilities and Estate Manager looking for a short term contract and ready to hit the ground running? Do you have demonstrated experience in business operations and/or facilities management?
Are you based in Canberra
If you answered yes to these questions, then this just might be the role for you
Duties:
* Plan, lead and oversee property management projects for the Agency
* Proactive and reactive management of facilities for a single-floor government agency.
* Coordinate access, for repairs and maintenance contractors, and be the first point of contact for all building and equipment requirements.
* Undertake risk assessments and managing risks relating to corporate projects.
* Engage with staff and leadership to provide advice and guidance on property management.
* Lead a small team through the setting of priorities and management of workloads to deliver on work and build capability in the team.
* Contribute to the activities of the broader Corporate Services team as required.
Do You Have?
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Strong planning and organisational skills.
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
* Independence and the ability to take ownership of deliverables.
* Excellent initiative, judgement and a proactive approach to the remediation of risks.
