About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, trade-qualified Spray Painter to join either our AMA Group Solutions or Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs team. The role involves delivering quality workmanship to ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition. This is a full-time position located throughout Sydney, NSW.
Key Responsibilities
Colour mix and match vehicle according to job sheet requirements, following paint supplier's process.
Build and maintain a colour library.
Prep, prime and paint vehicles as specified.
Buff and deburn vehicles.
Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.
Notate any extra paint work required that is not quoted.
Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager.
Clean work bay and workshop areas.
Co-coach apprentices when required.
About You
Trade-qualified Spray Painter.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a trade-qualified Spray Painter.
Strong commitment to working safely.
Excellent communication skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Own tools to fulfil the role.
