Our client is seeking an intelligent and well‑organised lawyer to join a high‑performing legal team. You will work with a group of experienced in‑house lawyers who are all friendly and easy to work with.
Requirements
* 5‑10 years PQE
* Experience working on property transactions, including commercial property leasing, acquisitions and disposals, ideally handling an extensive commercial leasing portfolio.
* Training gained working at a top‑tier, mid‑tier or specialist property law firm or well regarded in‑house team.
* Prior in‑house experience desirable but not essential.
* Friendly and energetic personality with a good sense of humour.
* Experience with litigation as well as property and commercial transactions.
* Research case law, legislation, and court rules; prepare court documents, contracts, and other transactional documents.
Responsibilities
* Work on a range of development transactions for private and listed clients, reporting directly into a lead partner and working autonomously when appropriate.
* Direct client contact, engage in business development, and build a practice.
* Handle agreements including planning and development agreements, marketing agreements and deeds, project delivery agreements, acquisition and sale of commercial and development sites.
* Co‑ordination of construction, financing and tax teams.
* Provide service excellence and make a real difference for our clients.
