Job Overview
Our team seeks a seasoned professional to manage large-scale solar plants in Australia, ensuring exceptional safety, quality, and environmental performance. The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency, support process optimization, and collaborate with contractors to maximize asset value.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop policies, processes, and procedures to meet procedural and legislative requirements.
* Oversee a portfolio of up to 5 sites, totaling ~1000MW capacity in Australia.
* Maximize total return on investment through analysis of system efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance.
* Establish strong relationships with EPC & O&M contractors to ensure safe asset performance and operation.
* Cultivate effective communication and collaboration with client-owners.
* Support divestment initiatives as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive knowledge of the Australian renewables market, particularly large-scale solar PV and battery storage.
* Understanding of key contracts and awareness of critical stakeholders for managing solar or battery assets.
* Knowledge of the solar asset lifecycle, including technical expertise in large-scale solar and battery systems.
* Strong process orientation and technical IT skills to support automation of processes.
* Proficiency in SAP financial systems.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the solar industry.
* The ideal candidate has worked with financial investors in the renewable space, IPPs, or vertically integrated developers.
* Proven track record of delivering FAC processes and O&M handovers.

* Detailed oriented and well organized.
* Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Fluent English communication skills are essential.
* Effective track record in managing sites from remote locations.
