As a Retail Nursery Worker at Pilbara Plants and Pets, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the high-quality standards of our nursery. What you'll be doing
* Assisting customers in finding the right plants, gardening supplies, and accessories to meet their needs
* Maintaining the nursery's plants and displays to the highest standard of presentation and health
* Stocking shelves and ensuring the nursery is well‑organised and easily navigable for customers
* Providing knowledgeable advice and guidance to customers on plant care, landscaping, and gardening
* Carrying out general nursery duties, such as watering, pruning, and light maintenance tasks
* Assisting with the processing of customer sales and payments
* Contributing to a positive and customer‑focused work environment
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably within a nursery or gardening environment
* A genuine passion for horticulture and a strong knowledge of plants, their care, and their growing requirements
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
