About the Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join the maintenance team on a permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy a 4-day working week while earning a competitive hourly rate. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and smooth operation of the facility. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery Diagnose and fault-find mechanical issues across packaging and processing lines Perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime Conduct preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability Install, modify and upgrade machinery as required Maintain accurate maintenance records Follow WHS procedures and site safety standards Skills & Experience Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing environments (highly regarded) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Strong safety mindset and attention to detail What's On Offer 4-day work week - no Fridays! $50 - $55 per hour overtime Stable, long-term role Supportive team culture Modern facility and equipment
