Our client is currently seeking a Medical Secretary to join their administrative team at their clinic in the Wesley Hospital. As a Medical Secretary you will provide administrative and secretarial support to their residing Surgeon in an efficient and confidential manner. This is a diverse, hands-on role which requires professionalism, interpersonal skills, flexibility, energy and attention to detail. Duties Being the primary medical typist as needed by the Surgeon. Medicolegal and Independent Medical Examination document control and creation. Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team to ensure the high level of patient care. Handle patient billing and receipting for consultations, maintaining accuracy and compliance with financial protocols. Preparation of surgery quotes, scheduling theatre procedures and managing post-operative appointments in collaboration with the Surgeon About You Minimum of one year of medical secretary experience, ideally in a specialist environment. Familiarity with both medical and general administration duties. Experience with medical software. Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
