Responsibilities
* Drive revenue growth for a diverse territory by selling Confluent solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises in Brazil
* Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a robust sales pipeline
* Manage the complete sales process while collaborating with business development, customer success, and support teams
* Develop and present compelling value propositions to potential clients
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships to identify new opportunities and maximize sales
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years of field experience in a quota-carrying sales role focused on acquiring new clients
* Experience in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions
* Proven sales methodology training (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger)
* Consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving targets
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, including strong presentation abilities
* Fluent in Portuguese
Preferred Qualifications
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Highly developed skills in selling, customer relations, and negotiation
* Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
* Demonstrated integrity, intelligence, and a self-driven work ethic
* Willingness to travel to customer locations as necessary
