This is a 12-month contract role with potential extensions, located in the ACT region in a hybrid setup.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct research and interviews to gather insights and incorporate user feedback into design iterations.
* Create user journeys, personas, and experience maps to understand and improve user interactions with government services.
* Ensure all UI/UX designs align with accessibility standards and government policy requirements.
* Work with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs and maintain design integrity throughout the development process.
* Advocate for user-centered design principles while balancing business and policy requirements in government projects.
* Provide guidance on accessibility best practices and ensure compliance with legal standards for inclusivity.
