Motor Vehicle Technician Opportunity
This is a challenging role for a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle inspection, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Vehicle Inspection and Diagnostic Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and diagnose problems.
* Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on vehicles to ensure they are running safely and efficiently.
* Servicing and Maintenance: Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance tasks on vehicles to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan.
* Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues with vehicles.
* Parts Replacement: Replace worn or faulty parts and components with new ones to ensure vehicles are running smoothly.
* Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all work is completed to the customer's satisfaction by communicating effectively and providing high-quality service.
* Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of work undertaken to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Compliance: Adhere to all relevant safety and compliance standards when working on vehicles.
Requirements
* Certification: Hold a minimum Cert IV in Automotive or above.
* Experience: Have a minimum 2+ years of experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician, preferably in a workshop environment.
* Diagnostics and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues with vehicles.
* Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
* Communication and Customer Service Skills: Possess good communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with customers.
* Teamwork: Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Industry Knowledge: Have knowledge of current automotive industry regulations and best practices.
