Acoustic Consultant – Acoustic Works Pty Ltd
Acoustic Works Pty Ltd seeks to employ an acoustic consultant with over 1–2 years of experience in our Robina office on the Gold Coast. The role involves providing consulting advice to clients such as town planners, developers, builders, architects, and project managers to address noise emissions from developments and internal noise within developments. Key focuses include improving environmental outcomes, reducing noise impacts, and enhancing acoustic amenity.
We require applicants to hold a tertiary qualification in engineering, science, or a Master's in Design Science. Practical problem‑solving skills, strong report writing, and effective communication and presentation abilities are essential. Training will be provided to promote career growth, with salary determined based on the competency of the successful applicant.
Job Requirements
* Demonstrate a high standard of competency in communication, including reading and writing.
* Experience with site work, road traffic, and environmental noise assessments.
* Exposure to building acoustics or willingness to learn.
* Exposure to Soundplan or willingness to learn.
* Hold a current Australian driver's licence.
* Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal hours as required by certain projects.
* Work with senior staff for direction and instruction to improve knowledge.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
