* TRP from $253K to $278K including superannuation, commensurate with experience

About the Role

As Director Asset Management, you will provide strategic leadership for the stewardship and optimisation of a diverse, high‐value portfolio of land, buildings, venues and infrastructure that underpins one of NSW's most recognisable and active precincts. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will set the long‐term asset management direction while ensuring assets continue to support major sporting, cultural and community events, evolving residential and commercial uses, and broader precinct objectives.

The role leads a multidisciplinary team of approximately 20 professionals and works closely with senior executives, government partners and operators to balance operational demands with lifecycle sustainability. This position requires sound judgement to prioritise investment, optimise utilisation and manage risk across assets of varying age and condition, while delivering outcomes within a constrained capital environment and clear public accountability frameworks.

About You

You are a senior asset management leader with a proven track record of guiding complex portfolios through periods of transition, competing priorities and fiscal discipline. You bring strong expertise in total asset management, lifecycle planning and capital programming, combined with the ability to frame clear, evidence‐based advice for executive and government stakeholders.

You lead with confidence, integrity and purpose, building the capability of large, specialist teams and fostering strong collaboration across organisational boundaries. Comfortable operating in a high‐profile environment, you are adept at making informed trade‐offs, driving performance and ensuring assets remain reliable, fit‐for‐purpose and aligned to long‐term strategic objectives.
