About the Role
This position has been created to support the regional manager and work closely alongside a team of experienced seniors on a varied portfolio of urban development projects. If you’re someone who thrives on consistency of work, enjoys the mix of smaller neighbourhood‑scale developments through to large master‑planned projects, and wants the backing of a genuinely excellent team — this is worth a close look.
Day to day, you’ll be involved in:
* Contributing across the full project lifecycle — from feasibility and concept through to detailed design and construction
* Coordinating small project teams and keeping things running smoothly
* Presenting designs and concepts to clients and senior stakeholders
* Technical quality assurance and report writing to a high standard
* Engaging with clients and key government stakeholders through workshops and ongoing liaison
What You’ll Bring
This role is pitched at someone who is ready for the next step toward technical director level. You’ll have a strong track record in urban development and the kind of technical grounding that earns the respect of clients and colleagues alike. Specifically, we’re looking for:
* Solid experience delivering urban development projects in South East QLD or Northern NSW
* Strong technical report writing — this one matters
* Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, coordinate design teams, and keep clients in the loop
* Comfortable presenting design options and navigating technical decisions with confidence
* RPEQ (or actively working toward it) — highly regarded
