* DA Focus: Front-end coordination of 25–30 storey mixed-use towers (BTR, BTS, Hotel).
* Delivery Focus: Driving projects through construction documentation and detailed design.
* Open to candidates transitioning out of architecture and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
* Consultant Management: Lead and coordinate a diverse team of architects, engineers, and specialist consultants from concept through to DA or Construction Documentation.
* Compliance & Quality: Ensure all designs meet project briefs, regulatory requirements (NCC, BCA, BASIX), and strict adherence to the D&BP Act.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Interface with planning authorities and approval bodies to facilitate seamless project progression.
* Program & Budget: Develop and manage rigorous design programs. Work closely with Cost Planning and Construction teams to ensure designs align with project feasibility and cost plans.
* Project Lifecycle: Review plans for buildability, manage design timelines, and facilitate internal approvals within a vertically integrated environment.
Background
* Degree-qualified in Architecture or Engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years of industry experience, ideally with a focus on high-density residential or complex mixed-use projects.
* Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the NSW planning system, NCC/BCA, and a high level of literacy regarding the D&BP Act.
* Commercial Acumen: Ability to balance design excellence with commercial feasibility and buildability.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage consultants effectively and interface with internal construction and sales teams.
