This involves setting up, operating, and maintaining pumps and water treatment systems across multiple sites.
Your role ensures that construction and remediation activities proceed without interruption, adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.
KEY DUTIES AND TASKS Install and operate dewatering systems, including pumps, wells, and associated piping.
Monitor the performance of dewatering equipment and adjust optimize efficiency.
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on dewatering equipment to ensure it functions safely and effectively.
Troubleshoot issues related to the dewatering process and implement solutions promptly.
Record and maintain accurate logs of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and site conditions.
Ensure compliance with all environmental laws and regulations related to water discharge.
Collaborate with the Technical Service and Operation team members to ensure that project timelines and safety guidelines are followed.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS Experience in a similar role involving dewatering, water management, or related fields (i.e. Poly welder /AIC Technician /Pump fitter/ Pipeline installation).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in dewatering, water management, or related fields is required.
Practical experience with dewatering equipment, including installation, operation, and maintenance of pumps and wells.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumping mechanisms, and basic electrical systems.
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Effective communication with team members and superiors to report on project status and any issues.
Trade certificate relevant to position (i.e. Fitter, Plumber) - (Desirable) Underground mining experience is preferred but not essential.
