Job Title:

Rehabilitation Registrar Position in a Dynamic Healthcare Setting

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled medical professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Registrar.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. As a Rehabilitation Registrar, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with diverse healthcare needs, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

* To evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages presenting in any condition.
* To work in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including ward rounds, consultations on other wards, liaising with other treating doctors and participating in team and family meetings.
* To support General Medicine, Orthopaedic and General Surgical Teams, as well as Radiology, Anaesthetics and Intensive Care services.
* To attend clinics with the Southern Area Brain Injury Service in Goulburn and under the supervision of our Rehabilitation Physician.
* To participate in teaching at the hospital, including medical RMO training, Journal Club, Grand Rounds and Morbidity and Mortality Meetings.

Requirements:

* AHPRA registration, RMO year 2 or above.
* Demonstrated ability to complete rotations as allocated and required.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, including sharing appropriate information internally and externally with key persons or services.
* Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to vary communication style in line with the understanding of the needs of diverse audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and display a flexible approach to meet changing situations in a demanding and unpredictable clinical environment.
* Demonstrated ongoing commitment to further self-education and professional development.
