The program aims to facilitate clients’ reintegration into the community so they can live a meaningful and enjoyable life.This is an opportunity to take your mental health experience further and learn new skills.You'll be partnering with a range of diverse group of individuals, who experience persistent and severe mental illness.We'll be asking you to provide one-on-one support with identifying / developing person-centred goals as well as supporting your colleagues.This is a full time position working business hours Monday-Friday based in our Stirling facility.Your responsibilities will include:As a Senior Recovery Partner, you’ll be required to mentor Recovery Partners, communicate effective with outside agencies, professionals and family members and significant others, produce person-centered summaries and reports and provide medication and administration. You will also work in conjunction with Senior Recovery Partners based at other Community Options sites and receive guidance from a Team Leader. Additional duties include:Provide leadership to all staff and assist in day-to-day management within the Community Options Site.Support the maintenance of service level agreements (SLAs) and protocols around intake and assessments.Coordinate with clinical and care staff to deliver appropriate activities that support best practice.Ensure Recovery Partners are recovery focused and goal oriented and have working relationships with clients.Participate in verbal and written handovers at the beginning and end of each shift.Identify opportunities for education, training & employment.About you:You are someone who can demonstrate an understanding of recovery principles that adopt recovery-oriented and person-centred practice. You will ideally have experience in leading and motivating a team of Recovery Partners to deliver person-centred care.You will also need to have a Cert IV in Mental Health or tertiary qualification in a relevant field.To be considered for this role you’ll need:Certificate IV in Mental Health, or a higher qualification in a relevant fieldExperience working with people experiencing mental health conditionsExcellent organizational and time management skillsDemonstrated experience in leading and managing staffAbility to assess situations and determine appropriate solutions to promote recoveryWorking with us:At Southern Cross Care WA, we are committed to being an employer of choice.
