Offer description

Project Manager / Carbon Project Developer Salary: $100k-$140k Super Location: Bendigo, Perth, or Newcastle Why You'll Love This Role: 1. The Mission Make a tangible impact on the environment by leading the reforestation and revegetation of more than 25,000 hectares of land. 2. The Impact Avoid being siloed or pigeonholed. In this role, you will influence every stage of the project lifecycle, from conception to completion. 3. The Stability Join an established leader, not a "Johnny-come-lately." You'll be part of one of Australia's most experienced, longest-standing carbon project developers with a massive, secured pipeline of work. The Business: If you are driven by solving big, real-world problems, they don't get much bigger than climate change. You will be joining a growing Carbon Project Developer that has already planted 30 million trees and shrubs across more than 20,000 hectares, sequestering over 1.5 million tonnes of CO2E. They have the runs on the board and the momentum to do much more. The Opportunity: Over the next two years, the business has an ambitious plan to more than double the size of its existing portfolio. As a Carbon Project Manager, you will take ownership of a suite of Environmental Plantings projects. You will be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle-from feasibility assessments and registration through to reporting and auditing. This is a role for someone who wants genuine autonomy and end-to-end responsibility. Key Skills & Experience: We are looking for experienced industry professionals who can demonstrate a track record in carbon sequestration. Specifically, you will be familiar with: The ACCU Scheme: A deep understanding of the Australian Carbon Credit Unit framework. Project Lifecycle: Experience managing the full lifecycle under at least one method (e.g., Environmental Plantings, HIR, Savanna Burning, or Soil Carbon). Ownership: A proven ability to manage stakeholders and technical requirements simultaneously. How to Apply: For more information on this and other carbon farming Project Manager / Project Developer opportunities, hit Apply or reach out to James Bicknell at jay.bicknell [at] aurec.com or via LinkedIn.
