About the Role
Pacific Islands International has an exciting opportunity for a driven Export Managerto join the Sales team.
Overall role requirements include:
* Manage the day-to-day sales of your allocated region within the Pacific.
* Business development aligned with evolving market conditions.
* Manage product offerings to customers based on supply availability.
* Manage customer relationships end-to-end to ensure ongoing business opportunities.
* New product development in response to customer demand.
* Undertake forecasting, scheduling and annual budgeting to meet business expectations.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
* At least two (2+) years of demonstrated successful experience within an export sales and marketing environment.
* Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary sales approach to customers.
Desirable:
* At least three (3+) years of demonstrated successful experience within an export trading environment in a managerial capacity.
* Computer literacy and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of building / construction materials, global consumer trends, financial markets, and trade policies of major export markets.
