MYtech Consulting Services is a growing IT service provider, providing services to public and private sector clients. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst for a 3 monthfixed-term contract within NTG.The Program Finance Specialist supports the Digital Transformation Program by managing budgets and forecasts, monitoring expenditure, and providing clear financial reporting. The role identifies risks and funding pressures, supports re‐forecasting and business cases, and ensures compliance with government financial and procurement requirements while working closely with program and finance teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts and financial plans across multiple digital transformation projects.
* Monitor expenditure, commitments and accruals to ensure alignment with approved funding, scope and delivery milestones.
* Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, including variance analysis, cash flow forecasting and funding utilisation reporting.
* Identify financial risks, pressures and emerging issues, and provide mitigation strategies and re-forecasting advice.
* Support business case development, cost modelling and financial analysis to inform investment decisions.
* Ensure compliance with government financial management frameworks, procurement policies and funding agreements.
* Work closely with Program Directors, Project Managers and corporate finance teams to maintain financial control and transparency.
* Contribute to audit processes and continuous improvement of program financial governance and reporting practices.
Candidate Requirements
* National Police Clearance (mandatory)
* PF166(mandatory)
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline (CA/CPA or working towards desirable).
* Demonstrated experience providing financial management and advisory services within large programs or portfolios, ideally within government or complex organisational environments.
* Proven experience developing and implementing financial tracking tools, dashboards and standard reporting frameworks to support program governance and executive oversight.
* Strong capability in budget management, forecasting, financial analysis and variance reporting across multi-project programs.
* Ability to translate complex financial information into clear reporting and insights for program leadership and senior stakeholders.
* High level analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex issues into plain language for non-technical executives, managers and frontline staff
* Strategic mindset with a strong focus on adoption, outcomes, and benefits realisation
