Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples' wellbeing.
This covers four core areas: mentalhealth, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services The Role headspace Port Augusta has an exciting role available delivering essential youth mental health services to its clients by road or flying with the RFDS service into remote Aboriginal communities.
This role conducts psychosocial assessments with the young person and their support networks, facilitates group activities, community engagement and educates young people in mental health literacy.

About you Experience working with young people and their families or in groups.
Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communication.
Able to work in a remote community setting and be sensitive to the needs of vulnerable groups.
Ability to travel and work remotely.
Suitable qualification to be eligible for AASW or AHPRA.
