Key Responsibilities:
· Load agricultural aircraft with chemicals safely and efficiently
· Accurately measure and mix chemicals according to requirements
· Wash aircraft and assist with basic maintenance tasks
· Perform general maintenance on equipment including mowers, tugs, pumps, and vehicles
· Mow lawns and carry out general property maintenance
· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
· Conduct stock takes and manage chemical inventory
Work Locations:
· Primary base in Innisfail
· Regular travel to Mareeba, Lakeland, and various remote stations
· Ability to work away from base for extended periods (potentially weeks at a time)
Work Conditions:
· Early morning and/or late afternoon shifts depending on weather conditions
· Outdoor, physically active role in varying environments
· Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to work under pressure
Requirements:
· Current open driver's licence (essential)
· Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Attention to detail, especially when handling and measuring chemicals
· Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required
· Commitment to safety and teamwork
Highly Regarded (or willingness to obtain):
· Forklift licence
· First Aid certification
· Chemical handling/applicator licence
