Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Salary: 160-180k +
Company: EPC
Location: Adelaide
Projects: from 132kv
Design & Build have partnered with a established EPC business delivering major projects across power, renewables, and infrastructure.
You'll be joining a tight-knit engineering team focused on delivering large-scale substations and energy infrastructure.
This role gives you ownership of the control systems scope – from concept through commissioning – on high-voltage transmission projects across the country.

What you'll be doing:
* Delivering protection and control systems design packages for HV substation projects
* Developing specifications, schematics, and functional logic diagrams
* Working closely with HV electrical, primary/secondary, and drafting teams
* Supporting commissioning and site integration of systems
* Managing quality, documentation, and compliance with technical standards
What you'll bring:
* Proven experience working on protection/control systems in transmission networks
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering)
* CPEng or working towards it
* Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body (e.g. Engineers Australia)
* Solid understanding of substation SCADA, PLC, HMI, and protection relays
* Strong experience with relevant standards (e.g. AS/NZS 61850)
