We are seeking a skilled IT & Network Support Engineer/Technician to support onsite tasks in various locations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on contractual tasks, with payment based on hourly or daily/half-day rates.
Tasks will involve Level 1 and Level 2 IT/Networking related activities, including desktop support, server hardware installation and replacement, as well as on-site assistance via console access to routers, switches and firewalls.
Key Skills
* Expertise in System Desktop Administration, Customer Service, Incident/Change/Release Management and support for third-party applications on Windows platforms.
* Proficient in IT Infrastructure Library and Windows Server Administration, with experience in utilizing programming techniques for various initiatives.
* Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, wireless LAN configuration, Ethernet desktop setup and subnetting.
* Technical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with multiple operating systems, including iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry devices.
