Culinary Professional Wanted
The company operates a modern Australian dining experience with a young and vibrant team of culinary professionals working across NSW.
Responsibilities
1. Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food in accordance with our menu, ensuring high standards are maintained.
2. Food Handling and Storage: Ensure compliance with food handling regulations, maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and organization.
3. Food Presentation: Oversee food plating and garnishing, maintaining consistency and artistic presentation.
4. Roster Implementation: Implement rosters within set guidelines, adhering to budgetary constraints.
5. Menu Planning: Plan menu items and estimate food requirements, collaborating with management.
6. Cost Estimation: Estimate food and labour costs in consultation with management.
7. Issue Resolution: Discuss food preparation issues with senior management.
8. Kitchen Staff Development: Train and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills.
9. Cost Management: Manage cost of sales and labour.
10. Dietary Requirements: Prepare food to meet special dietary requirements.
11. Innovation: Create and test new recipes, experimenting with flavours and techniques to innovate the menu.
12. Culinary Equipment Maintenance: Regulate the temperature of stoves and oven to ensure dishes are cooked at appropriate levels.
Requirements
1. AQF associate degree, Certificate IV, or Diploma certification in relevant Hospitality qualification.
2. Prior experience as a Chef for at least one year.
3. Strong knowledge of cooking methods and operating kitchen tools and equipment.
4. Ability to work Full Time.
5. Flexibility to work on a rotating roster.

Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year.
