This is a full-time position, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing of our high-quality electrical switchboards.What you'll be doingPerforming modular switchboard assembly, electrical fitting, and wiring of switchboard componentsInterpreting electrical diagrams and schematics to complete wiring (Power and control cabling )tasks accuratelyFabricating copper bus barsConducting quality checks on switchboard assemblies before passing on to final testingMaintaining a clean and organised work environment to support efficient and safe operationsCollaborating with the production and engineering team to identify and resolve any technical issuesProviding mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members when requiredWhat we're looking forFormal qualification in electrical fittings, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Electrical/Electronic Trade or equivalentMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Fitter, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environmentStrong knowledge of electrical principles, installation techniques, and safety proceduresAbility to read and interpret engineering diagrams, schematics, and product installation manualsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsGood communication and teamwork skillsWhat we offerAt Dara Switchboards, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that enables our employees to thrive.
