Restaurant Shift Lead Job Description
The Restaurant Shift Lead is responsible for executing restaurant operations in conjunction with the General Manager.
Focusing on influencing a guest-centric culture that consistently delivers excellent guest service and high-quality food, while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements is key to success in this role.
The Restaurant Shift Lead maintains brand image by ensuring the restaurant's cleanliness, maintenance, and excellent service are of the highest standard. Treating all team members with respect and dignity is essential.
This role involves following company guidelines and executing protocols for daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance. It also involves encouraging restaurant teams to consistently deliver excellent guest service and food quality in adherence with brand systems, procedures, and food safety requirements to provide a craveable guest experience.
Working with other team members to drive profitable sales growth through long-term initiatives is crucial to success in this role. This includes reviewing, practicing, and modifying as needed to continuously improve the guest experience.
Supporting the General Manager to identify and train internal candidates for Shift Lead positions is also an important aspect of this role. Ensuring operations are executed per company operational standards and assisting in the training of employees are additional responsibilities.
Maintaining effective communication with guests and the community, responding to guest questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure positive resolution and guest recovery is critical to success in this role.
