About the Position
* Maintain and repair machinery including computerised inspection machines, conveyor systems and packaging equipment.
* Perform general welding, fabrication, and machining tasks.
* Carry out leveling and alignment of engineering components.
* Repair and maintain power transmission systems.
* Detect and resolve issues with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
* Provide operational support to colleagues regarding plant performance.
Essential Skills & Experience
* You must be a trade-qualified fitter with relevant certifications.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience as a fitter in manufacturing or industrial settings is necessary.
* You should be able to take direction, work independently and follow established safety procedures.
* A valid Australian driver's license and permanent residency are also required.
Work Environment
* This role offers stability and regular working hours within a well-organised workshop environment.
* Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm, with penalty rates applied for overtime.
* Overtime may be required on occasion, and work is mainly carried out on-site.
